Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tax Accounting Team Lead to oversee the firm’s tax accounting operations. This role will manage a team of tax associates, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide strategic guidance on tax planning and reporting. The Team Lead will play a critical role in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all tax-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the tax accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Oversee preparation and filing of corporate and individual tax returns in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Review and approve tax schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct tax research and advise management on regulatory changes and their impact on the firm and clients.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize liabilities and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors during tax audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of tax filings and reports.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align tax reporting with overall financial objectives.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in tax accounting operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification required; additional tax certifications (e.g., CTA, CTP) are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in financial services or auditing firms strongly preferred.
